Princess Winter Efteling Day 2007

Sunday 25 November the Winter Efteling in Kaatsheuvel exclusively opened its doors for about 15,000 Princess consumers and relations. In addition to a visit to the enchanting amusement park the 1,200 special guests, among whom many well-known Dutch people and (former) Olympic sportspeople, could also enjoy the Princess Winter Night Drink with effervescent performances and numerous culinary surprises.
Winter Afternoon Drink
At 12 o’clock the business relations of Princess were warmly welcomed at the Princess Winter Afternoon Drink at the Fata Morgana Palace. Princess Ambassadors Tonny Eyk, Cas Spijkers and Felice made sure the guests would want for nothing, neither musically nor culinary. Felice took care of the presentation and unveiled a series of unique Princess actions for 2008.
Entertainment at the park
The Efteling was not only filled with the well-know fairytale figures and attractions. At various locations you could find typical Princess entertainment where you could swing on the music of the famous girls’ act PopGirlz and party artist Alex. Children could engage in the battle for a true Princess T-14 hockey stick; at the end of the day those with the best push received a brand new Princess T-14 hockey stick. At the park there was also a lot of cooking with the various Princess products going on and there were various demonstrations. The entire park was surrounded by a mysterious wintry fairytale atmosphere. An Oompah Band provided a festive touch and the crackling bonfires completed the heart-warming Christmas feeling. 

Winter Evening Drink
Following the visit to the park an exclusive Princess Winter Night Drink took place for the special guests at the Fata Morgana Palace which was decorated in Chinese style. This Winter Night Drink replaced, once-only, the traditional Princess Christmas Drink. A large number of well-known Dutch people and (former) Olympic sportspeople were among the guests, such as Inge de Bruijn, Sjoukje Dijkstra, Hennie Kuiper and Naomi van As. During the show programme some remarkable Princess actions for 2008 were presented. Jan des Bouvrie presented the latest line of Princess blenders: Let's Blender by Jan des Bouvrie. Moreover, there were sparkling performances of, among others, Belle Perez and Xander de Buisonjé and the guests could taste the culinary tour de force of Cas Spijkers and Chef Juan. Felice took the role of host and presenter. The trio under the supervision of Tonny Eyk added lustre to the whole. 
Het Wapen van Geldrop
During the drink there was also attention for the new Dutch movie '(Princess presents) Het Wapen van Geldrop’. This movie is described by the makers as a passionate road movie. Even though the premiere will take place in May 2008, producer Princess Entertainment could already show some exclusive shots to the guests. On stage the leading actors answered questions of Felice. Tara Elders indicated that this is perhaps the most beautiful movie of her career. Katja Schuurman-Römer was the one who called Aad Ouborg with the question whether he would like to cooperate on the project. They knew each other because Katja had been the PA of Aad for a couple of days during the recording of the TV programme ‘Katja vs. Bridget’. 'Het Wapen van Geldrop' is the direction debut of the third leading actor, Thijs Römer-Schuurman.
Olympic year
The theme of the evening was “Princess goes Beijing”. After all, 2008 is completely dedicated to a spectacular Olympic year with remarkable events and actions. Moreover, Princess will be present at the Games as sponsor. In the build-up to all the activities the action logo and the packaging were revealed in a Chinese manner.
