On Monday 25 August 2008 the Spanish men’s hockey team returned from Beijing. Princess is the main sponsor of the Spanish hockey federation and it goes without saying that a festive welcome was awaiting the Spanish sportsmen. During the Olympic Games in Beijing the Spanish men won a silver medal after Germany appeared just a little too strong in a shimmering final.    

Representatives of Dosefes SA (the Spanish distributor of Princess) were present at the airport of Barcelona to on behalf of Princess sincerely congratulate the Spanish men with this beautiful result. 

The Dutch coach of the Spaniards, Maurits Hensriks, was proud as a peacock of his team: “It is such a shame that we could not convert the superiority in the game against the Germans into a victory, but I am glad with and proud of the final result. It is heart-warming to see how Princess received us at the airport of Barcelona”.
