Historical Villa Vrederust officially opened

BREDA, NETHERLANDS - Following far-reaching reconstruction and renovation, this historic building has opened its doors to all the Princess staff on the 23d of June 2005.
The beautiful listed Villa Vredeburg is Princess's second office complex in the Dutch city of Breda after the company's headquarters at Baronielaan 1. For the time being, the distribution centre will continue to be housed in the Hoogeind business park in Breda.
The new building was officially opened in the presence of the full complement of staff, Princess Ambassadors Cas Spijkers, Tonny Eyk and Felice and the Advisory Board. Guests were treated to a snack and a drink and offered the chance to view the premises.
Princess CEO Aad Ouborg welcomed the guests and gave a brief history of the company and the Villa Vrederust. To mark the official opening the bells on the clock towers were rung by Aad and Els Ouborg.
The villa has a nostalgic feel that fits perfectly with the Princess image. It also has all the space and functionality Princess' needs. Villa Vrederust has superb conference rooms, where the complete Princess collection was on display for all to see.
The premises will house the following departments: Product Development, Quality and Service, Financial Administration, Marketing, Sales, Purchasing, IT and Export.
Once the office ceremonies were over, guests were treated to a delicious lunch of mussels, with outstanding accompaniment by a singer-guitarist. Thanks to the fine weather, lunch was served in the beautiful architect-designed gardens.
