Over 1,500 hysterical fans, performance with a live band and first copy handed out by Willibrord Frequin!

 

Last Saturday Noordwijkerhout was completely dedicated to Alex. The popular singer has already scored many hit records with, among others, ‘Een bossie rooie rozen’, ‘Meissie Meissie’ and ‘De liefde’ and he has been part of the top of the Dutch music business for many years. Last weekend, before the eyes of over 1,500 fans, Alex presented his new CD album ‘Op een dag’. None other than Willibrord Frequin handed out the first copy to Alex. Thanks to the praising words of Willibrord, good references, his fans and the support of Princess Entertainment success of the album (in the meantime available throughout) is guaranteed!

Op Een Dag
The title ‘Op een dag’ refers to one of the 17 tracks of the album. Together with producer Kees Tel, Alex has personally written and composed almost all of the songs. Therefore it became a very personal album with a lot of cheerful party songs. Also the well-known hit records of the past period (such to include ‘Meissie Meissie’ and ‘Een Festival van Liefde’) are included on the album. ‘Op Een Dag’ is, beyond a shadow of a doubt, a milestone in the career of the singer Alex.
 
How it all started…
The career of Alex started at Café Bolle Jan in Amsterdam. His career gained momentum as a result of the number 1 hit record ‘Een Bossie Rooie Rozen’. Apart from this song, many other hits were added to his repertoire. Songs like ‘Dam Di Dam’, ‘De Liefde’ and ‘Een Festival Van Liefde’ all reached the top 3 of the Dutch hit parades and have, for a number of consecutive years, been elected Biggest Carnival Success of the Year. This summer ‘Gekkenhuis’ conquered the Dutch charts and thus the eighth Alex’ hit record of the last five years gained a top position on these charts.
